Strike: “Career of Evil” will air next yearby Beatriz F. Souza
After the exhibition of the last episode adapting Silkworm, BBC made a statement about the future of the adaptations of Robert Galbraith’s books, pseudonym of J.K.Rowling.
Confirming what Radio Times had already said, the broadcaster announced that the two episodes of Career of Evil will air only in 2018, yet without an exact date.
It has also been confirmed that the exhibition in US will happen through Cinemax, owned by HBO, one of the series’ co-producers.
In the statement, the TV channel showed satisfaction with the public (attracting an average of 7.4 million viewers for Cuckoo’s Calling) and critics. The third part will also star Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger as Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott, and see detective and assistant through a case that begins with a single leg being mailed to Robin in Cormoran’s office.
Strike is produced by Brontë Film and TV, a Rowling’s production company, which was also responsible for the adaptation of Casual Vacancy.
