Rupert Grint joins M. Night Shyamalan’s new TV seriesby Amanda Mira
According to the portal Deadline, Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter saga, was cast for the new M. Night Shyamalan’s series on the new streaming service from Apple.
Still untitled, the production tells the story of a couple who hires a young nanny to care for their newborn son. Rupert will play Julian Pearce, the protagonist’s brother. The cast also features Lauren Ambrose and Nell Tiger as the parents.
The supernatural thriller from the same director from Split already has a ten-episode season guaranteed by the streaming platform. The episodes were written by Tony Basgallop and Shyamalan will be the producer, in addition to directing the pilot episode. There is no debut date set yet.
