Rupert Grint to star a TV show based on Agatha Christie’s Book

Rupert Grint, who played [Ron Weasley] in the Harry Potter series, will take part on the cast of the TV show based on the detective fiction The ABC Murders, written by Agatha Christie. Grint will give life to Inspector Crome, one of the cops in charge of solving the crime.

On The ABC Murders, the famous detective Hercule Poirot receives a letter from ABC, a serial killer who announces his intentions to commit a crime on the 21st of that month. On the scheduled date, a woman named Alice Ascher is murdered in Andover, starting a series of murders in alphabetical order of the names of the victims and respective places. It is set then a great police operation to solve the case.

Directed by Alex Gabassi and produces by Farah Abushwesha, The ABC Murders starts filming in June and will be divided in three events. The series will be broadcasted by the British channel BBC One, but the premiere date has not been released yet.
