The actress who played Professor Sprout in Harry Potter says she wished the death of British Prime Minister with coronavirus

The actress Miriam Margolyes, known among Harry Potter fans for portraying Professor Sprout, said she wished the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, would have died with coronavirus (Covid-19). He had been hospitalized in the ICU after being infected by the virus.

The declaration came after a TV host asked the actress what she was thinking about Johnson’s decisions to control the crisis caused by the disease. “It’s a disgrace, it’s a scandal”, Margolyes said to TV show The Last Leg, from BBC.

“I wanted him to die. Then I thought that I don’t want to be the sort of person that wants people to die. So, then I wanted him to get better, he did get better. But he didn’t get better as a human being.”

The United Kington is the second country with more deaths caused by coronavirus around the world. Until this Wednesday (13), the country had registered about 40 thousand deaths, being only behind the United States.

The deaths are counted by Office for National Statistics in the UK, which takes into account information from England and Wales, and a survey of the news agency Reuters, which includes Scotland and Northern Ireland.
