Daniel Radcliffe talked about how he feels on the importance Harry Potter has in fans lives, during an interview to Couch Surfing, for the American channel PeopleTV’s.
The actor had a diverse career since Harry Potter‘s ending but considers important to keep embracing the past. “As much as I’m happy to be doing other films now, I’m always genuinely very honored when someone comes up and says, ‘You were a huge part of my childhood'”, he says.
When asked about fans unconditional love for the franchise, he claimed to have become more and more comfortable with it and mentioned as an example his love for The Simpsons. “With me, it was the Simpsons. They represent a big part of my childhood. I loved it. And the idea that I could play such a role in someone else’s life was wonderful”, he said.
The interview happened during the promotion ok Miracle Workers, which debuted on February 12th, in the United States. In the plot, Radcliffe plays Craig, an angel part of the Department of Received Prayers, one of the neglected departments in Heaven. Miracle Workers is on every Tuesday, at 10:30 pm (EST) on TBS.
