Rowling revealed, via twitter, the actress Jessica Williams’s role in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. After being personally invited by J.K. Rowling to be part of the Fantastic Beasts franchise, Jessica Williams was announced as part of the cast in October 2017, along with Brontis Jodorowsky, who plays Nicolas Flamel. The actress was the only one to speak out on the controversy relating apparition in Hogwarts shown in the first trailer of Crimes of Grindelwald. “Don’t you think that will addressed in film? Don’t you think there was a reason for it? Do you think you know more than she does on this subject?,” she said.
Written by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald goes deeper within dark times in the Wizarding World. Returning to their roles are Eddie Redmayne (Newt), Katherine Waterston (Tina), Alison Sudol (Queenie) and Dan Fogler (Jacob), as Johnny Depp who plays Gellert Grindelwald antagonizing Professor Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law. The film premieres on November 16, 2018.
