BBC PLANS A NEW DOCUMENTARY ABOUT J.K. ROWLING

The British broadcaster BBC will produce a documentary to celebrate the twenty years that has passed since the publishing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

The show will visit the backstage of the exhibit Harry Potter: A History of Magic, which opens its doors to the public on October 20th, in the British Library, in London. For more info about the exhibit, check out this news.

The documentary will also feature an exclusive interview with J.K. Rowling, in which she’ll talk more about her current works and about some of her personal items which were donated to the exhibit. There will also be interviews with other people that worked with the books and movies from the Harry Potter series.

It’s not the first time BBC produces something related to Harry Potter. In 2001, they launched a documentary with an exclusive interview with Rowling that reveled, for the first time, manuscripts with original notes from the author. Besides, the channel was in charge of the adaptations of The Casual Vacancy and the Cormoran Strike series for the British television.
