SERAPHINA PICQUERY AND THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC TO RETURN ON FANTASTIC BEASTS SEQUEL

CCarmen Ejogo, who plays the character, posted on her Instagram a picture of herself at Leavesden Studios, where the Wizarding World films are shot, getting ready to play the president of the Magic Congress of the United States. Aside from Carmen Ejogo, Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler will be back on the sequence, playing the parts of Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein, Queenie Goldstein and Jacob Kowalski, and Zoë Kravitz is coming back as Leta Lestrange, Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone, Johnny Depp as Gerard Grindelwald and Kevin Guthrie as Mr. Abernathy. Among the new members of the Wizarding World, we have Jude Law, playing Professor Dumbledore, Callum Turner, as Teseu Scamander, and David Sakurai, as Krall.

The Ministry of Magic, ran at the time by Hector Fawley, seems to have negated Newt’s travel permit, for having been “uncooperative and evasive on reasons for the last trip”. Check out the picture on the news extension.

Still with no official title, the sequel of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them premiers on November 16, 2018. Once more directed by David Yates and with an original script by J.K. Rowling, the movie takes place a few months after Newt’s adventures in New York. Because of Grindelwald’s escape, the characters will face a shadowing era in the Wizarding World, with dangers that will test their loyalties.
