However, Callum Turner said he did not know how big his participation in the film is, as he had not read the script yet, which was written by J.K. Rowling in collaboration with Steve Kloves, the screenwriter from the Harry Potter films. The actor also said that the shooting would start in mid-February.

Although Warner Bros has not confirmed the beginning of the shootings, the actor Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) canceled his participation at Brussels ComicCon, in Belgium, on February 22 and 23, due to changes in the schedule of Fantastic Beast 3.

Johnny Depp, who portrays Gerald Grindelwald, changed his schedule as well. He canceled his appearance at a charity event in California, which took place on February 7, 8 and 9 dues to “commitments with a film that arrived unexpectedly”.
