Harry Potter roller coaster will be the first in the United States to feature a free-fall vertical drop

The new Harry Potter roller coaster at the theme park in Orlando, United States, got new images It is to be opened on June 13, 2019. The attraction, named Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, will be located in Hogsmeade area of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, placed at the Universal’s Islands of Adventure park.

The visitors will be able to fly inside the Forbidden Forest, which was replicated with a real forest with 1,200 trees. During the tour, regardless of being on the motorbikes or the sidecars, the fans will ascend above the trees, rapidly accelerate, speed forward – and backward. The roller coaster will be the first in the United States to feature a more than 5-meter free-fall vertical drop. In addition, the visitors will be catapulted at 19 meters in the air at angles of more than 70 degrees, and then immediately dropping backward in one movement.

Before the tour through the Forbidden Forest, the visitors will pass through ruins behind Hagrid’s Hut, where they can watch a class of Care of Magical Creatures. The set was produced by the Universal creative team in collaboration with the production designer of the Harry Potter films, Stuart Craig, and the Art Director, Alan Gilmore.

While the visitors go to their motorbikes, they will see objects from the classes, including dragon eggs, and a nursery where Hagrid kept his Blast-ended Skrewts. They will also meet other characters from the Harry Potter series, like Arthur Weasley, Hagrid, and Fang.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will also be the longest roller coaster in Florida, measuring nearly 1,540-meters in length. For more information about the new attraction, access the park official website.
