Bloomsbury releases books from the Harry Potter universe for dyslexic readers

The books from The Hogwarts Library were released in England in special editions for dyslexic readers, a learning disorder characterized by reading difficulty. The announcement was made by Bloomsbury, the publisher responsible for Harry Potter in the United Kingdom, during the annual Harry Potter Book Night.

The special editions for Quidditch Through the Ages, The Tales of Beedle, the Bard and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, from The Hogwarts Library box, went through changes to make the text more accessible, with different sizes, fonts, and paper color. In addition to that, legends and detailed descriptions of the illustrations were added. These changes were supported by the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People), a British charity institute that supports people with visual impairment.
