Canadian bakery makes an edible Hogwarts replica

To celebrate Christmas, Duchess Bake Shop, a French bakery in Edmonton, Canada, created a 100% edible replica of the Hogwarts castle.

The replica, which is around 3.20 feet high, included details such as the wooden bridge and the staircase which takes the students to the Hogwarts Express. Everything is made with edible ingredients: gingerbread, sugar, and sweets.

The piece is not for sale. In partnership with a local community center, the bakery will use the replica to help those in need now during the holidays. They are gathering socker donations and, after the holidays, the Duchess Bake Shop will draw a winner. The winner can, then, eat the castle.
