Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Airport in Singapore turns into The Wizarding World

To celebrate the Holidays, Changi Airport, in Singapore, prepared a thematic decoration inspired by J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. The passengers can walk around Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Diagon Alley, with full-size replicas of locations featured in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

At Terminal 3, passengers can walk around Hogsmeade and buy products from the Wizarding World in stores such as Honeydukes, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop, and Zonko’s Joke Shop. There are also an owl post and a big replica of Hogwarts Express, besides the Diagon Alley with stores like the Quality Quidditch Supplies and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. At Terminal 2, there is a replica of the Whomping Willow, and, at Terminal 1, visitors find Newt Scamander’s Menagerie, inspired by the film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The airport has also prepared a series of interactive experiences, such as a game with a giant Niffler and a Quidditch Field. In addition, the passengers can take home a moving photo with the Fat Lady. Every night, there is also a snow and light show.

“Wizarding World Holiday at Changi’s” (Festividades do Mundo Bruxo no Changi, em tradução livre) will stay open to visitors from November 16, 2018 until mid-February, 2019.
