British publisher reveals cover of illustrated edition of The Tales of Beedle, the Bard

Bloomsbury, publisher responsible for editions of Harry Potter series in England, revealed the cover of the illustrated edition of The Tales of Beedle, the Bard. The art was developed by Chris Riddell, the only illustrator honored three times with Kate Greenaway Medal.

The illustrated edition will be released on October 2nd, 2018. Besides the British edition, another edition, illustrated by Lisbeth Zwerger, will come out in the United States.

J.K. Rowling’s profit with the sales of The Tales of Beedle, the Bard will continue to be donated to Lumos, NGO founded and presided by the author who works to improve children and teenagers’ lives around the world.
