During a live stream with actors Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler, Lumos, the charity founded by J.K. Rowling, started a new fundraiser with Wizarding World perks for donors. From exclusive illustrations to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplays signed by Rowling, the donors can even be sorted to visit the Leavesden Studios for a VIP experience on the set of the Fantastic Beasts sequel.
There are many options to donate:
- With 12 dollars, donors gain 1 entry to the grand prize;
- With 24 dollars, you get two entries to the prize and a digital thank you card from Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler;
- 48 dollars will give you four entries to the grand prize plus a 30x40cm limited edition print of the cover of the screenplay of Fantastic Beasts, created by MinaLima and with gold foiling;
- Donating 72 dollars will get you an exclusive edition of the Be The Light t-shirt, black, with a stamp featuring a quote given by the author on her 2008 Harvard Commencement Speech and published on Very Good Lives, along with six entries.
The biggest perk is a signed version of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay, presented in an exclusive suitcase made for Lumos, with only 10 available. With the 2.500 dollars price tag, the donor will also get 208 entries to the draw.
Besides the visit to the studios with three night stay and round trip air tickets, the draw also offer an exclusive painting of the famous Magizoologist Newt Scamander, painted by Henry Frasier and signed by J.K. Rowling, Eddie Redmayne and the rest of the cast.
The donations will be directed to diverse Lumos’ projects, which guarantee basic survival rights, such as clean drinking water for children in Haiti and the Lumos’ Emergency Fund, which is used to save lives and prevent harm to vulnerable children.
